Marie-Eve - Financial Consultant, Performance Measurements
"Talented people feel they are challenged here. SimCorp understands your needs and provides the tools necessary for you to grow. New ideas and initiatives are welcomed and personal and professional development is highly prioritised."
Marie-Eve Crepault - Financial Consultant, with SimCorp since June 2006

I am a request manager for SimCorp Dimension’s Middle Office. I function as the link between our 1.line support on the customer side and our developers in the Development department. I make sure that information about errors in the system is transported smoothly from the business consultants at our customer site to our developers - enabling them to fix them. I basically manage which error requests go through the system to the Development department and which do not.
Is your education being used in SimCorp?
Yes - it is fantastic! I studied engineering and finance, so I understand both sides of our product, and I use my educational background in my position as request manager.
Joining SimCorp wasn’t difficult. It obviously represented a large learning curve – I had to get to know the system, but it helps that everyone has the same starting point, as we all have to learn about SimCorp Dimension, and we all depend on each other’s knowledge in our daily work.
With a little more than two years in SimCorp, my career has developed a great deal. I started out as a student assistant in our documentation department and am now employed as a request manager. I think my position is all about good PR, as I negotiate dates and deadlines, and work to build strong bonds to our business consultants, and assist them in their quest to provide better service for our customers - and I most definitely feel we are getting there.
Is SimCorp an attractive workplace?
I see SimCorp as a place where there are infinite possibilities. I have never had a manager say “you cannot do this”. There is an incredible freedom here and a lot of flexibility. I see SimCorp as a great place to develop and learn more.
I experience a fantastic balance between my work and my private life. I probably work more than I should, but in no way do I feel pressured to do so. There is a great flexibility in the work schedule, and there is time reserved for networking and teambuilding, which is a huge plus. There is no competition, but knowledge is shared. People are always helpful, and willing to use time mentoring you, something that makes SimCorp a very comfortable environment to work in.
